Welcome!

If we don’t know each other yet, an extra warm welcome!

Before we talk about me (yes… I know this is an about page!!), let’s talk about you:

Because chances are, if you’re checking out LifeWalking then you’re either a bushwalking enthusiast (on the wrong website) or… we probably have a few things in common!

For one thing, I’m guessing you’re a big hearted someone who sometimes finds it hard to be YOU - right?

I’m with you in that! Being an empath and creative (with orderly chaotic tendencies), I’ve been on a big life journey learning how to show up fully as me through the messy tangle of life’s incredibleness.

Hi, I’m Fiona Morrison

I believe in whole-self living, where we can build a path to being our authentic selves more often, with less comparisonitis and self-judgement.

Whether it’s working with: young people or adults; individuals, families or groups, my drive is to be a companion for the messy journey of life, as it unfolds in our day to day happenings.

When I walk alongside individuals, my focus is on the here and now and how we can stay with what is to hold the messy tangle of strands and find our way forward.

When I gather folks together, I focus on nurturing spaces offering warmth, creativity and playfulness so that we can sing up a more hearty world to inhabit together.

A Few of My Messy Moments

✴️ I started out my adulting life thinking I wanted to be a famous film director. I definitely DID NOT want to be a teacher.

✴️ My first set of twists and turns tumbled my plans upside down and I ended up married and working as a passionate and happy primary school teacher (in a school with massive diversity and disadvantage).

✴️ Along the way I became a mum… and THAT precious big “school of life” taught me to walk back along my own path.

✴️ My curiosity and passion for educational reform took me back to uni and then to exploring the world of educational coaching and leadership.

✴️ Until life took a devastating twist with the stillbirth of our precious 2nd child, Harry.

✴️ The profound, embodied knowing of life, death and loss was a kind of reckoning which highlighted that what was important was WHO I WAS not What I DID in the world.

✴️ And so… wending my way through deathwalker training, healing in grief and loss, and then the precious arrival of our 3rd child, I found myself ready to contribute more broadly in the world…

✴️ Little did I know… 2020 was about to unfold!!!

✴️ Virtually There Learning was born out of a passion to support families doing it tough in pandemonium.

✴️ Since then I’ve wended my way towards creating a village (virtually and in person) where EVERYONE can participate.

✴️ After 2.5 years Virtually There has lived a full life cycle and now LifeWalker has been birthed into the world… to continue and deepen my companioning work.

I am:

  • an empath… a deep diving soul traveller…. and a passionate advocate for a more inclusive world.

  • mum to a gorgeous teen, an angel baby and a generous hearted pre-schooler,

  • a lifewalker who companions others through the messy middle of life’s storms,

  • a coach, tutor and educator (with 15 year’s experience working in schools, the community and adult education),

  • a creative who loves to explore the world and my inner world, through crafting, connecting and collaborating.

I love to cook, journal and craft. I am learning to love strength training because having lived with chronic illness and pain for most of my adult life, I am determined to get stronger!
